If you are someone who LOVES to travel or you’ve traveled a bit but are hesitant to travel somewhere you’ve never been because maybe you don’t speak the language or understand the culture, then this blog is for you! Through my stories and photos about places I’ve been and experiences I’ve had, I hope to spark a sense of curiosity and wonder; and if you’ve got fears and hesitations, to inspire you to set them aside and open your mind to what new and exciting experiences you could be enjoying through travel! My Story
I have traveled on and off for most of my life, but it’s only fairly recently that I began to realize how much travel has influenced my life and my perspectives. This is something I want to share with you.
Meet Me
I’m Shelley Niesen and although my degree is in Geology and I work in the field of water quality studies, my passion is for travel. I travel with my husband and together he and I enjoy making photos of the places we visit. I look forward to sharing with you my own personal perspectives on travel through my stories and photos of this beautiful world!
